We’re all afraid of the unknown and in most cases this leads upon a paralyzing state.
Every wasted day is making it worse, although the solution seems so close.
We are defined by the choices we make.
But now I try to make it better for the first time but I gotta watch out, not to forget a single thing.
When time is passing by we tend to look back just with melancholy eyes, but not this time, I promise.
How long will we keep weighing up the pros and cons before we start to get things done?
We never take a risk because we are afraid to fall or worse although we knew the right all along.

Open your eyes just to see your damn good life. A place to live, to work, to kiss, no harm no hunger no war just peace and a wide freedom in any kind. It seems not right to write theses lines but after all we criticize it’s time to say what’s great!
We reap the fruits of fights for freedom in former times. To those who died to make this happen, I’m aware of what you did in every second. We live under a dome of fortune, safe in our homes. While the dirt in the world touches me casually, I’m aware of my privileged reality.
Part of my freedom is to speak my mind no matter what!
Somewhere else these few lines could mean my death- too absurd!
We watch to make it stay, we won’t let anyone take this away. What’s given to us is real breakable, we take it for granted, unchangeable. You, who are on the way, I can’t do anything but orate. My privilege won’t be no more if your fights are going to score.
Part of my freedom is to develop how it suits me.
Elsewhere this is enough to end up in jail and never get free.
Think of those who spent their life in prison, who suffer from repressions of self-appointed leaders. To all oppressed because of their sexual orientation. This one goes out to those who give their lives for liberty, while fighting for freedom of speech and press and individuality. Their resistance against this injustice has my utmost respect.
To all the oppressed: your fight leads to success, because struggling for freedom is never in vain!
All in all my luck is just the fact that I was born in this place on earth. So my obligation should be, to stand by those who can’t live free like me.
Someday in the future this freedom will expand! Someday…

For over a decade now, Blendof have been dripping sweat, blood and smiles across any stage or floor that was strong enough
to hold them. The band, hailing from Ulm in southern Germany, live for cramming into vans and dragging themselves into the unknown.
Blendof are living proof that Punk Rock is recognized as a spectrum, and it's a spectrum that they are not afraid to draw wide influence from.
